Tegeta Motors, a leading auto parts distributor in Georgia, optimizes inventory with LEAFIO AI

LEAFIO AI and Tegeta Motors business group, a leader in car products and services in Georgia, will collaborate on comprehensive inventory management automation. The key goal of the project is to optimize the assortment and stocks in the distributor's warehouses using the LEAFIO Inventory Optimization solution.

Tegeta Motors distributes its products through a network of service centers and directly from its central warehouse. Catering to a diverse clientele including individuals, wholesale and corporate customers, as well as actively participating in public procurement, the company offers an extensive array of over 50 thousand items sourced from manufacturers and suppliers across multiple countries.

The implementation of the LEAFIO Inventory Optimization inventory management system at Tegeta Motors will allow:

• automate work with orders;
• to establish the offer of analog products in the absence of the main article;
• optimize the assortment;
• improve inventory and stock management (identify slow-movers and reduce dead stock).

Generally speaking, inventory optimization will allow the distributor to release frozen funds, free up warehouse space to store the most relevant items, improve inventory turnover and reduce inventory costs.

The project will be executed in several stages. Initially, the plan entails integrating a trial product category, tires, into management using LEAFIO Inventory Optimization. Subsequently, the intention is to expand the solution to encompass the entire range, totaling 50 thousand SKUs.
