In the latest release of LEAFIO Shelf Efficiency, we’re adding a dedicated workflow that gives suppliers structured and controlled access to planogram execution without compromising retailer data or processes.
What’s New
The new Supplier Module introduces a separate supplier role, fully managed by the retailer in the web interface. This ensures complete control over access, visibility, and data sharing.
Suppliers, in turn, work exclusively via the mobile app, where they can benefit from several dedicated features.

This creates a clean, focused workflow for supplier-side execution and validation without unnecessary complexity.
Smarter Photo Management and Sharing
To support collaboration while keeping data structured and secure, the product development team introduced enhanced photo storage logic.
Retailers can choose where supplier photos are stored:
- On a dedicated LEAFIO server (as an additional paid option)
- On their own infrastructure, with LEAFIO handling automated uploads
This functionality is especially useful for retailer–supplier collaboration. For example, a supplier may share a recommended planogram and later request shelf photos to verify execution standards. If the placement meets agreed requirements, the retailer may receive bonuses or marketing support from the supplier.
The new functionality allows retailers to store these photos long-term, organize them by store and planogram, and quickly retrieve historical images when suppliers request confirmation for previous periods. Retailers can download and share images with suppliers when needed.
A new report provides direct links to downloadable photos, simplifying communication and follow-ups.
Additionally, in the web interface, retailers will now be able to separately view supplier-submitted photos, independent of internal store execution images.

As retail networks scale, execution becomes increasingly distributed. Suppliers play a critical role in maintaining shelf standards but often lack structured tools to collaborate effectively.
The new supplier module closes this gap by
